Who we are

JEMA's mission is to serve Protestant missionaries seeking to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to people in Japan — networking and equipping its members to make disciples for Christ. JEMA is composed of over 40 Japan-based mission agencies and their personnel, independent missionaries and tentmakers, and friends of Japan missions overseas.

Four ministries

Member Care, Women in Ministry, Prayer, and Missional Thinking — retreats, days of prayer, debriefing circles, and mission think tanks across Kanto, Kansai, and Tohoku.

Led by its members

Member missions elect the Leadership Team at the annual Plenary Council, set direction and budget, and endorse ministries serving the wider community.
